Istanbul Development Agency's (IDA) 2 Guided Projects, "International Organ Transplant Network" (ITN) project and "Istanbul Living Lab Living Center-Ground Istanbul Project" took place in the 100-Day Action Plan of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
In the 100-Day Action Plan, there are many titles of targets, from transportation to energy, from economics to industrialization, from foreign trade to urbanism, from foreign policy to defense, from education to health, from agriculture to technology, from tourism to youth and from spores.
The action plan, which includes 400 projects, covers the projects supported by Development Agencies for regional development. Istanbul Development Agency's 2 guided projects, "International Organ Transplant Network Center" (ITN) project and "Istanbul Living Lab Life Center-Ground Istanbul" project entered into the 100-Day Action Plan of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
With the "International Organ Transplant Network Center" (ITN) project, managed by Turkey Organ Transplantation Foundation, a center will be opened in Istanbul with a collaborative network that includes 70 countries. The project will improve cooperation and experience sharing among working teams related to organ transplantation in 70 countries. It is aimed that both education and health care services will be exported to Istanbul as it is a training center in this network. Approximately 6 million 650 thousand TL project which will be carried out by, until 2023 it is envisaged to bring about 1,875 foreign patients for organ transplants to Turkey and thus the creation of a $ 125 million economic mobility will be realized. In 2019, the first year of the project, the center's organ transplantation, education and organ transplant data management software revenue is estimated to be total 14 million 780 thousand Euros.
The project "Living Lab Life Center - Ground Istanbul" conducted by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will also serve entrepreneurs. The center will soon be opened at the Şişhane Metro Station and will be new address for innovation and entrepreneurship. In the center where the new technological products and services will be developed Experience Laboratories, Maker Workshop, Incubation Center for Entrepreneurs will be located.
Entrepreneurs in the Incubation Center will benefit from the mentor pool created by those with sectoral and academic experience, as well as receiving various trainings, in accordance with their needs. The Experience Center will serve as a center where the services and products developed will be tested and designed together with the citizens before they are offered to the market or before being offered to the public. In the Education and Activity Center, 7-10 year Maker, 10-16 age Advanced Maker programs will be conducted for children and young people. The Ground Animation Studio in Istanbul will also teach the basic elements of design and programming that will give children the chance to turn their ideas into reality. A new generation of screenwriters, animators, designers, programmers and directors will be trained and each potential child will be encouraged.
Ground Istanbul will host 1 million people annually and will serve all Istanbul citizens who will produce domestic and national technology in Istanbul. Citizens of Istanbul, entrepreneurs, companies, universities, technoparks, technology transfer offices, start-ups, incubators will benefit from the center.
