Executive Board is the decision making body of the Agency. It is comprised of Governor of Istanbul, Mayor of İstanbul, Chairman of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Istanbul Chamber of Industry and three members selected from the Development Council.

The Development Council was constituted in line with the regional development goals so as to direct the Agency and to collaborate with regional public institutions, private sector, non-governmental organizations, universities and local administrations.
In reference to the “Decision on the Determination of Institutions and Organizations Sending Representatives to Development Agencies’ Development Councils” published in the Official Gazette numbered 30262 and dated December 6th 2017, the Agency decided which public and private institutions and NGOs could send representative to the Development Council.
